Baseball is considered one of the activities that can unite Taiwanese in sport events. Among many outstanding baseball players, there are many indigenous players coming from Hualien and Taitung.  With the forming of Care Cup, baseball teams of elementary and junior high school from Hualien and Taitung area no longer need to travel far to participate competitions in the western and northern Taiwan.

 

The participating teams of the Care Cup are mainly composed by indigenous teenagers. Care Cup names event theme individually for each year, and the theme is based on the spirit of indigenous tribes.

 

In 2015, the 22nd event theme is “Roar Hard”. The main emblem used rough brush lines and the feathers that symbolize glory in indigenous cultures, coupled with flames and glass beads to match with black, red, yellow, cyan and green colors to create a bright and powerful design that echoes the theme. And assisting patterns such as the outline of baseball, bats and human faces are applied to set off the main vision.
